My
first dive trip to Tenerife.
I have just recently qualified
to be a Junior Open Water diver with my Dad. We decided to have a family
holiday in Tenerife so that my Dad and I could get some diving in while
Mum and older sister, Hannah go and do stuff like shopping etc.
My first dive
was in Marazul where there were a lot of fish and some rock formations
to dive around. I then went on to do 2 more dives at Playa Pariso where
the rocks have eroded into mushroom formations. There were not so many
fish here, but the rock formations were interesting and enjoyable. The
next place we went to dive was called the Black Cove. The water had quite
a swell on and being on the boat was like being in a hammock and was quite
fun. The first dive we went down to 18m and I saw my first Octopus, but
I kept my distance from it. I also saw a fire worm.
The best dive
was the last dive, it was in a place called El Petito and I saw 2 turtles,
which came over to get a close look at us. I also saw 2 Moray Eels that
were showing their teeth at us !!.
Overall we
did 5 dives and we really enjoyed it. Cant wait to go again.
