Following Just Diving's success with running the Space School programme for Leicester University, we have now been chosen to provide a Scuba experience programme for the Space Academy students at Sir Jonathan North School, Leicester. On June 18th and 19th we will be providing a week-end of scuba fun with a space related theme to approximately 50 students and staff who run the Space Academy programme for wannabe Astronauts. |
| August 2011 | We have once again been asked, for the 5th year running, to provide a two week scuba programme for Leicester Universities Space School. We have delivered this programme for the past 4 years, putting approximately 120 students through a PADI Discover Scuba Programme, followed by an Underwater Team Building event with a space theme. Last year saw the introduction of a crash landed space ship, hidden treasure map, Papa Anton, and space aliens. Who knows what might be lurking in the Scuba Galaxy this year !! |
| April 2011 | Congratulations go to Sarah White who has just successfully completed her OWSI and IE in The Caymans, with some very high scores across all aspects of the IE. |
| March 2011 | Following some intensive homework and hardwork, Andrea achieved her Management degree by using evidence gained from running the dive school. A large part of the qualification was focused on Staff Development and Health and Safety, and the External Moderator commented that it was one of the most comprehensive Health and Safety units he had ever seen submitted. Evidence had to be generated over a period of time, across various units of competence which included, Staff Development, Marketing, Effective use of Technology, Health and Safety, Innovation, Personal Development etc. |
