Diver Propulsion Vehicle Speciality

Have you ever been diving on wrecks and reefs, where they have been too big to explore fully, or battling strong currents around wrecks that has prevented you seeing all their is to see ? Well life has just got a little easier. With a DPV - or divers underwater scooter - you can glide through the water with ease using less air and travelling a little further.

A DPV speciality course consists of 2 dives completed in one day in open water, with a small amount of prior home study and completion of a knowledge review.

A DPV speciality certification lets you hire DPVs on any of your holiday destinations, which means, you can have much more fun gliding effortlessly through the water and getting around those huge wrecks with much more ease.

This speciality will also count towards your Master Scuba Diver rating

To take part in this speciality you must be an Open Water Diver and be at least 12 years of age.
